Mind Body Soul

In exploring the 'New Age' subculture, I identified two distinct visual languages: one vibrant, psychedelic, and full of movement—marked by rich color palettes, organic patterns, and expressive serif or script fonts. The other was much more minimalistic and serene, relying on light, muted tones, sans serif typography, and generous use of white space. For my zine, I sought to merge these contrasting aesthetics into a cohesive design, using them to represent the dual nature of spiritual practices within the subculture. The content is divided into the chapters Mind, Body, and Soul—each exploring a different aspect while reflecting this balance.
